Fasting For Spiritual Discipline - Deeper 6.4.25 | Bishop Eulah Nelson
00:00:00
Everybody. Amen. God is good.
00:00:05
Hallelujah. All the time. And all the time God is so good. Amen. I am praising God tonight.
00:00:18
God is so good. I thank him for being alive and having health and strength, don't you? And the blood still running warm in our veins. And all of us walked in here. I don't believe nobody was brought in here tonight.
00:00:30
In God. Good. Hallelujah. Jesus. Amen.
00:00:34
We praise him and thank God for waking us up this morning. Oh, God. How many thank God for a sound mind? Have you ever been in a hospital where on the floor where people didn't know who they were, didn't even know their name, didn't know their relatives? My God, aren't we blessed?
00:00:55
Jesus. Hallelujah. Songs When I think of the goodness of Jesus and all he's done for me, my soul cries out, hallelujah. Yes. It's just my soul.
00:01:10
My soul. The enemy cry. And I thank God for saving me. Amen. We are blessed tonight to be able to get in the word of God.
00:01:22
And we're going to talk tonight. Go into Second Chronicles, Give honor to our pastor. Amen. Who needs some family time sometime. Amen.
00:01:38
And to all of you ministers of the gospel, our deacons are here. We thank God for them and the others of being all the saints of God. We all want in Christ Jesus. Amen. And thank God for this church and thank God for this deeper life.
00:01:56
Class. Amen. Now you know what that means, right? Amen. Those of us that's been saved and walking with God sometime, he's helping us to hold on, helping us to endure.
00:02:11
How many know you? If you have patience and don't have endurance, you ain't gonna make it. Amen. You got to be able to endure. Amen.
00:02:21
And this we living in the last days, which is a falling away time. That's one of the signs of. Of the Lord coming. How people are falling away as one of the main signs. Amen.
00:02:36
So we thank God because God has given me second Chronicles, 20.
00:02:42
Amen. And three, the whole chapter, but 20 and three.
00:02:50
We're gonna. We're gonna learn tonight how fasting is used as a spiritual discipline.
00:02:59
How many do remember coming along in the church? How many have been saved? Oh, more than 20 years, more than 30 or 40. Amen. Amen.
00:03:08
Some of us been saved. 50, 60, like that. Listen, how many of y' all remember the teaching of fasting?
00:03:17
As a matter of fact, they told you you fast twice a week here. Praise the Lord. And it blessed us too. And how many of Y' all remember all those crutches and wheelchairs around the wall people got out of when we were praying and fasting?
00:03:33
And so we're going to learn how fasting is used as a spiritual discipline. Amen. Discipline our body. Now, you know, some people think they don't need no discipline. I'm fine the way I am, but every day of my life I'm saying, lord, help me, because I want to be like you.
00:03:57
Fasting brings our bodies and our mind and our habits under control.
00:04:04
Fasting lets carnality know Jesus lives up in here.
00:04:11
All right, now I have. Some of my scriptures tonight are from the NIV. Some are from the New American Standard Bible. But here we are. Jehoshaphat was alarmed by the news.
00:04:30
And Jehoshaphat sought the Lord for guidance. How many need guidance? Sometimes. And he gave orders. Orders that everybody throughout Judah should observe a fast.
00:04:45
Amen. Now read the third verse.
00:04:54
Read out. Proclaim a fact throughout all Judah.
00:05:02
Yes, Judah, they came to do what? Because they needed help from God. If there's anybody here tonight need help, say, lord, I need help tonight.
00:05:21
Deeper life. See, some people think they all right. And you come to church and you go to Sunday school and you go to Bible class sometime, and sometimes you don't make it. And look at how slim it is sitting here tonight. I think some more people are coming, but it should be almost running over in here.
00:05:38
This is one of the things that help you to endure. Amen. Now you may be seated. Say. Say fasting is used as a spiritual discipline in our lives.
00:05:58
Okay? Fasting can be a part of repentance.
00:06:05
You can't imagine how many people just go on. Things happen in your lives, and we all make mistakes. Never repent.
00:06:13
Amen. But fasting can be a part of repentance. When the nation was found with. With. With face, with disaster, say disaster, what did Jehoshaphat do?
00:06:27
He called a. What, you just ready? He called a fast and told the people to get serious with God. How you gonna get serious with God? By going without food for designated time.
00:06:42
Going without food. We're glad to see Sister Jennifer, aren't we, Minister Jennifer? And by separating yourself from your daily routine of food preparation, eating. Amen. And he said, God want us to do that so we can devote that extra time considering our sins and praying to God for help.
00:07:10
Somebody say, help, Lord. Every day, every time you feel a hunger, hunger, pain, say, help, Lord. He said that would reinforce their feelings of repentance and remind them of their weakness and their dependence Upon God, those songs. That I am weak but thou art what Jesus. Keep me from all.
00:07:39
Some of y' all remember that Sunday school song, huh? Amen. Fasting still can be helpful in 2025. And so we can seek God's will in special situations. Let me tell you, whether you admit it or not, everybody in here need God.
00:08:00
Elder ashford, get Ezra 15. I mean 8 and 15.
00:08:08
Or maybe 8 and 21. Ezra 8 and 21.
00:08:14
Praise the Lord. 8 and 21.
00:08:21
All right.
00:08:28
You have it.
00:08:33
Okay. Huh?
00:08:39
You having difficult. You got it, Reese, you have it. All right. All right. Read 21.
00:08:49
8, 21.
00:08:59
Yes, I have children.
00:09:11
Listen. For all our goods as we travel. Can you imagine people getting on the road, going anywhere and asking. Don't ask God to help them. No.
00:09:21
Fast. There by the river of Ahava Canal. He gave orders for all of us. He said to fast and humble ourselves. How many know fasting humbles you?
00:09:36
Yeah. Cause you're not eating and you're not strong like you. Always be humble ourselves before God, he said. And we prayed that God would give us a safe journey and protect us and our children. How many.
00:09:51
How many children need? Your children need God. Tonight. I want God to protect my children. Save or unsaved, we need God to protect our children.
00:10:04
Many times we don't know what they're into. You don't know what those children are getting into. But God will protect them if we fast. Discipline ourselves to fast. Amen.
00:10:18
What. What is the meaning of discipline? Who knows? Give me a word. Discipline.
00:10:25
Self control. Amen. That's a good one. We'll move on with that one word. Number two.
00:10:33
Number one. Fasting can be a part of repentance. Number two. Fasting can be a part of prayer. Come on now.
00:10:44
Hey. Glory to God. If you really want to get down with God, miss some meals. And Ezra knew God's promises to. To protect them and protect the people of God.
00:10:56
But he just didn't leave it to that. Amen. He didn't just take that for granted. He also knew that God's blessings are appropriated through prayer. Amen.
00:11:09
Yes. God said he gonna protect you. But if you want the blessings of God to be appropriated in your life, pray. So what he did, he told the people. Humble yourselves by fasting and praying.
00:11:22
By their prayers. Their. Their prayer. By their prayers and fasting. Guess what?
00:11:27
God answered their prayers. And ain't a person in here tonight praying and want God. Don't want God to answer your prayer. That's why we pray. We want God to answer our Prayer.
00:11:37
Anybody got anything before God right now? Yeah. See those of us that's been walking with God for a while, we can't forget the old landmark. Ah, come on, shut up. We can't forget that.
00:11:48
Amen. He said ask for the what path? Old path, you know, someone say what? What should we do it in Apostolic Church these days? The same thing God told us in the beginning.
00:12:01
Cuz Hebrews 13 and 8 said Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever. Help me here. Fasting also gave them the to pray that and meditate on God. Lord, you better get your mind on God these days, all this stuff happening in here. Can we say hallelujah?
00:12:20
You can't go to sleep and wake up and somebody didn't get killed.
00:12:25
Amen. So too often we pray. What you word gull or just cra. Crazy prayer.
00:12:38
What is the word I'm looking for? Relaxed prayer, Lazy prayer, Superficial prayer. Amen. But we need some serious praying done around here. When I walk in here on Sunday morning and people are out laughing and talking and throwing things and stuff, that's not the way Bible way came.
00:13:00
We used to come in here praying. Come on. Yes, somebody. Yes. We praise the Lord.
00:13:05
Yes, we hugged, but we prayed. We kept a spirit of my an atmosphere of prayer in the sanctuary, believing what God was going to do when we get into service. Anybody in here know that? Say Amen. Serious prayer.
00:13:21
Amen. So. So you give concentration to God. Think about Jesus. When I think about Jesus and all he's done for me, soul cries out hallelujah.
00:13:33
It puts us in touch with God. Amen. And it can really change us. You fast and pray, God will change you. Any witness in here.
00:13:48
But without serious prayer, we in trouble. Amen. You don't pray serious and you get in trouble, you come running, won't pray real fast. You think God want God to act like a pharmacist? Give me some medication, a painkiller real quick.
00:14:06
Come on. Hey. Glory to God. But when you know God and you pray and believe God, you know how to wait on God because you know he coming. Come on somebody.
00:14:15
Scripture said they that wait on the Lord shall renew their strength. They should mount up as wings of eagles. They shall run and not be wary. They shall walk. Help me there.
00:14:24
And oh glory to God. I thank God I'm not missing. This is not the place to get your painkillers from. This is the place for you to give your life to God. And certainly pray and fast and believe God and wait on him.
00:14:41
Somebody say he may not come when you want him. Job said that, but he'll be on time. Amen. So those of us that are walking with the Lord, we can't forget, oh, I've been saved 45 years or I've been saved 25. Oh, I've been here 30 years.
00:14:56
So what? Whatever you got, it got to save you. It's gonna keep. Take that to keep you. Matter of fact, the devil gonna try you more than now that you saved.
00:15:09
He gonna Point number three, Fasting need to be done for the right reason.
00:15:20
Come on, somebody now I'm telling you, I know that a lot of things happen by fasting. Amen. Fasting gets you closer to God. When you fast in time of crisis, God will help you. Fasting in troubled times, God will help you.
00:15:44
Paul actually went before God and asked God to save because they wanted to kill him. Amen. When you need a breakthrough, you're already praying. So fast fasting is found 69 times in the Bible. Amen.
00:16:05
Fasting heals the sick. Amen. Fasting brings strict speedy relief sometimes. And then sometimes you have to wait. But we need to fast for the right reason.
00:16:24
Amen. Matthew 6 and 17 and 18 says, Jesus said, but when you fast, listen, comb your hair and wash your face, then no one will suspect you are fasting except your father, who knows what you do in secret. And your father. Somebody say, my father, who knows all my secret, will reward us openly. Don't you thank God for your father?
00:17:07
I said, don't you thank God for your father? He knows your secret and won't tell nobody. Hallelujah. Oh, bless God. I thank God because he knows my secret.
00:17:20
And when I go to him in secret and pray, he rewards it openly. Amen. So fasting need to be done for the right reason. Going without food in order to spend time in prayer is a noble thing. Sometimes it's a little difficult.
00:17:41
Sometimes people, you know, you're kind of weak and your stomach bother you a little bit, but that's all right. Amen. Listen, it's a noble thing to turn back your plate and give God some time. Amen. Because it teaches us self discipline and reminds us that we can live with a lot less.
00:18:07
Do you hear what I said? So you can live with a little bit less. Can we say Amen? It help us to appreciate God. Amen.
00:18:18
Amen. It gives. Jesus wasn't condemning when he talked about, you know, people fasting and. But what he was doing is he was trying to get us from being hypocritical. Fasting in order to get public attention.
00:18:33
Oh, y' all quiet in this sanctified church. Amen. Trying to get people approval so people say, oh, you, you, you. Oh, you so spiritual.
00:18:44
You know, it was mandatory for the Jews to fast once a year. Amen. And the one day of atonement, According to Leviticus 23, the Pharisees voluntarily fasted twice a week to impress people with their holiness. But I'm not trying to impress nobody. I want to impress God.
00:19:15
I want to be like Jesus. I want to love people like Jesus. Love people. Can you say Amen? Jesus love us.
00:19:26
Whatever you did today, whatever you face today, he still love you. He don't agree with some of the things we do, but he sure still love us. Look at somebody tell God. God still love you. Amen.
00:19:39
So he commended acts of self sacrifice. Amen. Amen. And when we fast sincerely, God will bless us even on the people to adopt a spiritual discipline for the right reason, not for selfish desire for you to get praise from people. Amen.
00:20:01
We got to quit that stuff, because people will praise you this morning and. And. And curse you later on this evening. They say amen. But when Jesus bless you, nobody can curse you.
00:20:15
Can we say hallelujah Then when you fast, that spiritual discipline, control it. Control your habit. Control what you routinely do daily. Amen. And what does spiritual discipline do for us?
00:20:36
First Corinthians said 9, 24, I believe it said. Remember that in a race, everyone runs, but only one person gets the prize. You also must run in such a way that you will win. Tell two people I'm running to win. That's why I'm running to win.
00:21:01
That's why I'm here tonight. Ah. I didn't come because somebody else was coming. I came here because I know I need to be here. I'm running this race to win.
00:21:12
Huh? I'm running this race to win. Win. Amen. I'm gonna get a prize one day.
00:21:21
Come on, somebody. And also, you got to look for the same thing. Run in such a way that you win the race. Spiritual discipline helps us effectively to run the race. And winning a race requires purpose and discipline.
00:21:41
Amen. You're gonna run a race, you're gonna get prepared for it. Amen. And so we will. I want to encourage you tonight, Praise God, to.
00:21:50
To use that fasting to discipline your body and your mind. Come on, somebody. Praise God. Paul uses this illustration to explain that the saint's life takes work. Hello.
00:22:07
What did Bishop say? Paul uses this to let the saints know it takes work in your life. It takes self denial in your end, huh? It takes preparation in your life. And as saints of God, we're running toward our heavenly reward.
00:22:30
Every day with Jesus is sweeter than the day before. Amen. I'm not just coming, I'm. I'm expecting to live with Jesus one day. Amen.
00:22:39
The day I spent in my study and I looked at the, the, the signs of the coming of the Lord and I thought, oh my God, any day.
00:22:51
Hallelujah. So the, the, the. The essential discipline of prayer and Bible study. Some people don't read their Bible. One man asked me, did not know anything but the Bible.
00:23:06
You don't know nothing else but the Bible? I said, sure I do. I do. But I favor this because man should not live by bread alone. Don't let me shout by myself.
00:23:16
But by every word that proceeded out of the mouth of God. Amen. We live by the word of God. Can we say amen in here? Thank God for Bible study and worship.
00:23:28
Amen. That all that equips us to run the race? Praise God. Worship service. Some people stand in the hall while you worshiping.
00:23:36
But get yourself in here. Come on, somebody. Amen. You want some good stamina? Amen.
00:23:43
You, you, you stand. You come in. Worship. Don't merely look from the grandstand. And don't just run just to dog jog a couple of, couple of days.
00:23:56
Come on. But we running for a lifetime here. Be running. Come on, somebody. We training.
00:24:03
Delighting. Delighting ourselves in spiritual progress depending on the Lord. You're running a race, trust me. And the race is not always easy.
00:24:17
Amen. Sometimes those of us that walk with God, sometimes we even give something good in order to do what God give up something good in order to do what God want us to do. I know I'm talking to somebody in here tonight. Sometimes you let some things, some good things go in order to please God. Amen.
00:24:41
Because you can't lose living for Jesus. Amen. Oh, I want to see him. Look upon his face there to live but what forever? What of his saving grace, huh?
00:25:02
On the streets of glory Let me lift my voice cares all pass home at last ever to rejoice. Somebody give God some praise up in here. Come on, somebody. Amen. So, so sometimes you.
00:25:19
You may be asked to do. Let something go that you want to please God. Amen. Each of our special duties determine the. The discipline and self denying that he or she must accept.
00:25:34
Without a. A goal, discipline is nothing but self.
00:25:44
Almost like self punishing. In other words, you ain't gonna do that no more.
00:25:51
Hands. You're not doing that no more. Come on feet. You're not doing that no more.
00:25:59
Glory to God. Mouth. You're not doing that no more. Praise God. Praise God.
00:26:07
Oh, Jesus. I never cuss in my life. My mouth belonged to Jesus. Thank the Lord. When you get the Holy Ghost.
00:26:14
You got your. Your mouth is clean. Come on God, wash your mouth out with the Holy Ghost. Come on, somebody. My God.
00:26:22
Soap. Like no soap ever in your life. God, clean that mouth off. Praise the Lord. Your hands are clean.
00:26:30
Come on, somebody. Discipline. Self punishment. Come on. And without a goal you won't please God.
00:26:40
Amen. Sacrifice. Sexy sacrifice. Seem like nothing says sacrifice. Seems like nothing compared to your.
00:26:53
Your eternal imperishable reward. It don't seem like nothing because that reward you gonna get don't perish. My God. My God. Amen.
00:27:07
And how many know the day is coming? Ah, the day is coming. Spiritual discipline makes us spirit.
00:27:20
There are things that I don't do, you don't do, we don't do anymore. Nobody has to watch me. Amen. When I decided this last time was during the pandemic. Pandemic too.
00:27:36
To take weight off. I didn't need nobody to watch me.
00:27:43
Nobody at all to watch me. Because I decided in Jesus name to discipline myself. Self discipline my. I'm. I don't want diabetes.
00:27:57
I don't want those diseases. And I want to live my time out. Thank you Jesus. And my body is the. Is, is, is, is God.
00:28:09
Your body is the temple of God. Amen. If I do my part, God will do his. Can you say Amen? So nobody has to watch me?
00:28:21
And I have beloved some of these sweetheart saints here, come spend the night with me and be with me. And they bring, you know, different things for some of the other people to put up there. I don't touch that can and stuff. I don't need that.
00:28:35
No. I'm disciplined. Can we say my amen? So you don't dis, you don't. You don’t.
00:28:42
You don't waste time arguing over godless ideas and old wives tales. Spend your time and your energy in training yourself for spiritual fitness. Because you want to be fit. You don't know what God gonna call you by far. Yeah.
00:29:06
You don't know what God gonna tell you he wants you to do. Come on. Somebody. I don't know about you, but I want to be spiritually fit. Amen.
00:29:14
I want to be the global Women. The Global Women Conference of America, I believe it is called, invited me to come. They Heard about me some of the. I think the president is one of our bishops and they invited me to come and be on two panels for their conference this year. And they don't have to preach, just be on the, on, on the panel, answer questions.
00:29:44
And they want to give me another award, honorary award. Amen. Isn't God good? I didn't ask for it. Praise God.
00:29:57
And so they said, we watched you. Amen. They said how spiritual they thought I was or whatever. That's what God, God want us to impress people in the right way. Come on somebody impress people in the right way.
00:30:11
Because we soul winners. Amen. So we have to train ourselves for spiritual fitness. Physical exercise has some value. Amen.
00:30:23
And I'm not going to ask the question, but many of us are walking as pastor taught. Some walk before that, but some are walking now who didn't walk before. And that has some, you know, some, some profit. Amen. Some value.
00:30:41
But spiritual exercise is much more important because it promises us reward in both this life and the life to come. Amen. The spirit, the chapter, the scripture for that is 1st Samuel 4, 7 and 8. Spiritual discipline makes us spiritually fit. And so the question to you tonight is are you in shape both physically and spiritually?
00:31:12
Are you in shape?
00:31:16
In our society a whole lot of emphasis is placed on physical fitness. But spiritual health, huh? Godliness is even more important. Our physical health is, is, is susceptible to disease. Yeah, you could be, you know, you can be looking good and feeling good and still have disease.
00:31:44
Amen. Amen.
00:31:49
But faith can sustain us through tragedy tragedies. To be spiritually fit, you've got to fast.
00:32:02
You got to tell your body not today. You got to make your, make your wants, be still, train yourself. And there's some people you can tell, the way they talk and could conduct themselves can't be a faster.
00:32:22
Am I teaching by myself?
00:32:26
Amen. So we must develop our faith by using our God given abilities even in the services.
00:32:39
Yeah, you need, you need, you need spiritual fitness to usher, to pray on the altar with people to win souls to Christ, to preach, to teach, to sing.
00:32:54
Amen. To lead prayer service, to teach Sunday school to teach the men and the women. Amen. God given abilities in service your church. So I want to ask you, are you developing your spiritual muscles?
00:33:16
Amen. Get down to the last now. Are you developing your spiritual muscles? Amen. Are you developing your spiritual muscles?
00:33:29
Because you got to be spiritually fit? Lord help us.
00:33:36
See, spiritual discipline strips away the non essentials unnecessary.
00:33:47
It's some things that we find ourselves doing, we ain't got to finish doing it.
00:33:53
And we could have not did it.
00:33:58
Discipline.
00:34:03
Spiritual discipline. Amen. Sins. Come on, somebody. Hebrew 12 and one says, this is not the King James.
00:34:15
Now, since we are surrounded by such a huge crowd of witnesses to the life of faith, let us strip off every weight, huh? That slows us down, especially the sin that so easily hinders us and our progress.
00:34:43
And let us run with endurance the race that God has set before us. How many know the race that you're running? God set it before you. Hallelujah. How many you know God set that race before you?
00:34:58
God saved you, he called you, he placed you here. He set that race before you.
00:35:07
Sometimes we say, oh no, let the young people do it. You better hold your place. Come on, hear somebody. I, I ain't going to let the young people, that's somebody that is not about to be physically fit, spiritually fit.
00:35:26
Let somebody say spiritual discipline strips away the non essentials. The Christian life involves hard work and it requires us to give whatever endangers our relationship with God. If you go to lose your relationship with God, let it go.
00:35:58
Let it go. Let him go. Let her go. Let it go.
00:36:12
Don't be entangled. Again with it. You come out, stay out.
00:36:18
Song say I'm running for my life. Hey yeah. I'm running for my life. If anybody asks you what's the matter with me, Tell him I'm saved and sanctified. Shout my shout.
00:36:31
Tell them I'm saved and sanctified. Holy Ghost filled and fire baptized I got Jesus by my side I'm running for my life Fast Jesus.
00:36:55
Anything that endangers my relationship with God so that I don't run patiently and I don't have the mind, I got. Listen, some sins you have to struggle against because you've been doing it so long, you did it in the world. And after we come in church, we do it. Come on here, somebody. Come on, somebody.
00:37:22
Jesus, help us. Ah, non essentials. Come on, somebody. Why are you surrounded by such huge crowd of witnesses?
00:37:34
Let it go. Let it go. One man was, you know, was very gifted and talented. One of our Caucasian pastors was teaching this very, very gifted. And he come to church and he come toward the pulpit and he was very talented.
00:37:53
But then he'd back, back and go back. He'd back, back and go back. Every time he come, he come so far and he go back and God blessed him. And so he said, look man, I'm tired of asking you, why don't you come on and do what God said to. He said, it's that thing.
00:38:14
He said, what? He said, that thing.
00:38:19
It's that thing.
00:38:22
One day he got him by himself in the car. He said, what is the thing? What you talking about? He said, got a right. I got a wife now.
00:38:36
I'm teaching this class tonight.
00:38:42
I got a wife, but I'm still masturbating.
00:38:48
That thing.
00:38:51
That thing. A whole lot of people still got that thing. Doing things we should not do. Got you not doing what God wants you to do. You know God set you up for a race.
00:39:03
You know God call you. You know God's hand is on you. You know God told you to do it. But that thing, no. No.
00:39:19
That thing endangers your relationship with God. To run patiently so you won't struggle against that sin. You won't come to the altar, you won't pray, you won't fast. You won't let go. Some eat, some eating sometimes so you can get in the face of God.
00:39:45
To live effectively, we must keep our eyes on Jesus.
00:39:54
We'll stumble if we look away from the Lord.
00:40:01
We look at ourselves, we'll stumble.
00:40:07
Circumstances surrounding us.
00:40:11
We should be running for Christ. We're not running for yourself, you're running for Christ. We must always keep him in sight.
00:40:24
Be disciplined.
00:40:28
Glory to God. Grow in our meditation. Somebody getting this tonight? Fasting, keep us humble. Keeps us spiritually disciplined.
00:40:44
Song said, when I see Jesus. Amen. When I see Jesus, Amen. All of my trouble and sorrows will be over. You'll be glad you let it go.
00:41:00
You'll be glad you left it. You'll be glad you walked away from it. You're glad you stopped it.
00:41:07
And I say those that have secret sins, stop it.
00:41:13
Fast and pray. Ask God to give you some spiritual discipline. Those that are cussing, ask God to give you some spiritual discipline. Fast, pray and let it go.
00:41:30
Because what shall I profit if I gain the whole world and lose my soul? What would I give in exchange for my soul?
00:41:44
What? You go sat down. What if you miss that first resurrection? What you gonna do but go to hell?
00:41:58
Hell ain't made for me. Ah, Jesus. No, no, no, no, no.
00:42:05
I've decided to follow Jesus. No turning back.
00:42:16
No turning back.
00:42:20
God bless you. Tonight, that's the class fasting.
00:42:29
Self discipline. I believe the Lord's going to bless somebody who heard this message tonight. How to fast.
00:42:42
Because fasting is used as a spiritual discipline. Yes, we get miracles and all, but charity begins where you know where. Mama told you. Then it spreads abroad. God bless you.
00:42:57
Shall we stand tonight?
